Ford Motor Company via PartsPlus offer a Total Loss Avoidance scheme, where any Ford vehicle that may potentially be categorised as an S or N write off, may receive a contribution towards the cost of Ford Parts, reducing the overall cost of the repair.
The programme is available for any Ford vehicle that may potentially be categorised as an S or N Write-off where the Parts are supplied via PartsPlus. The following category descriptions apply:
S - Structual: Repairable vehicle that has sustained damage to any Part of the structural frame or chassis, but decision taken not to repair
N - Non-Structural: Repairable vehicle that has not sustained damage to any Part of the structural frame or chassis, but decision taken not to repair
Upon request, Ford Motor Company, via PartsPlus may offer a contribution towards the cost of Ford OE Parts, reducing the overall cost of repair. This may make the repair financially viable, preventing the vehicle being declared a Total Loss.
Step One
Complete the required form by clicking here and email to the PartsPlus Total Loss Avoidance Team by calling 0808 196 3969 or emailing tla@PartsPlusUK.com
Step Two
The PartsPlus Total Loss Avoidance Team will respond via email with the offer of support available within 24 working hours. Any offer of support will be based on an increased discount on the Parts, vs the normal discount terms received from PartsPlus. The level of support available, will be calculated on the information provided in Step One.
Step Three
Communicate the assessment to the Insurance Provider as normal but ensure to notify them of the contribution offered by PartsPlus.
Step Four
If the Insurance Provider now authorises repair of the vehicle, order the Parts from the PartsPlus Total Loss Avoidance Team at the enhanced discount terms in line with the offer received (Please note: Ford OEParts must be used in all elements of the repair to qualify for the enhanced discount. If any non-OE Parts are used, no contribution from Ford is available).
Step Five
Once the repair is complete, raise the invoice to the Work Provider as normal. This invoice must show clearly that the contribution from Ford has been deducted from the total cost of repair. A copy of the invoice should be provided to PartsPlus via emailing tla@PartsPlusUK.com
